Due to the forecasted rain, we have rescheduled to Sunday. Let us know if you can make it! We need your help! Join us at Squirrel Point Light for our volunteer work party SUNDAY, June 29 from 1 PM to 4 PM as we tackle several grounds and construction projects. We are seeking: · A few experienced carpenters and able assistants to undertake two projects: (1) construction of new cellar bulkhead doors for the keeper’s house and (2) repair of a section of ramp to the lighthouse · A few people to repaint one of the exterior walls of the boat house · 4-5 people to organize the workshop, tidy the keeper’s house, cut brush and other outdoor projects Building materials, painting supplies and a generator will be on site. Volunteers will need to bring their own tools, loppers and lunch or snacks. For questions and to register, email Elisabeth. We look forward to seeing you!
