The boat shed at the lighthouse is freshly painted and we have been working hard to keep the grounds looking good too! We're hosting a volunteer work session this Sat. July 11 from 10 AM to 1 PM for up to ten people to help with grounds maintenance. To reserve your spot, please email Elisabeth by Fri., July 10. Rain date is Sun., July 12 - please check the website and Facebook page for last minute changes. To stay safe, volunteers are asked to register in advance, practice social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering when necessary. BYO water, snack, work gloves and tools such as brush clippers and pruners if you have them. You'll also want to read about our project to restore the historic railway to the boathouse at Squirrel Point Light, and how you can help.
